This is damn good from the beginning. Phil’s vocals are Phil, beautiful in his Philness, but they jump out the gate with Blue Sky(WHAT???.)
I love this show. I’m pretty much in love with all Phill AF stuff. These guys move along through this show picking up steam along the way. Oh yeah Donna Jean plus a couple John Lennon covers. Do not pass this show up.

Does anyone have any info about what "Confusion" is? Sounds like it's something, not just an indistinct jam.

Phil's singing on this one is really the best reason for this one. The mix is perfect, in my opinion...Molo is just right. Phil singing vocals on Blue Sky and Tomorrow never knows is worth this one alone. His voice rocks. I love his version of Days Between here or wherever he chose to sing that one(including Milwaukee fall 99). Like China Doll, I miss him singing this gem, and wish he would bring it back again(with Phil vocals). For real Phil fans, check him out singing Morning Dew or one of these 1999 versions of Cold Rain and Snow, maybe check out 7-2 & 7-3. Like a Rolling Stone is, as always, a welcome Phil tune as well. Don't get me started on how well I think Phil's voice and singing are on this or any version of Mountains of the Moon.

the sound on this recording does NOT do the playing justice. Get the DTS 5.1 mix if you can play a dts cd, b/c its definitely worth it. the drums are mic'd horribly - sounds like the drumset is made of paper plates. Kimock and Warren really do some great things in the show though once they warm up to each other. One of the best soulshine's ever and the blue sky has a cole's law lick in it. Very cool show...don't get this recording though!

Kimock's leads here are truly RIGHT ON!!!
It's a great mix... Warrren on the Left and Steve on the Right.
Some volume adjustments but overall a really nice mix.
What's up with the Missing Encore being replaced with another Days Between? Who is pt (uploaded by) and why have you taken away the encore and replaced it with this?? I love the song (with Jerry singing) Phil... I could do with out vocals there for sure... Might have made a nice instrumental tribute to Jerry.

Great show I remember it well. Glad to see a DSBD of it. Track 6, Confusion, is a hidden gem. Just listen past the muddled vocals and check out the first jam. Warren and Steve trade licks and get to a beautiful high point. Only problem with this tape is that the Mountains of the moon is missing. the D3track4 where it should be is just another Days Between (not exactly a highlight with Phil singing). If anyone can updte this that would be great. -JB
